Opera Unwrapped for Christmas
Dinner is served. So is the Opera.
4th December 2026
Begin Christmas at Wolterton Hall with music from Into Opera, dinner by Alex Clare’s Norfolk’s Edge and wine from Flint Vineyard.
Everything has been created for this occasion. A menu written for the evening, a programme chosen to accompany it, and each course served alongside live music.
£85 per person, including a three-course dinner and a glass of Charmat on arrival.
A selection of wines, paired with the meal, will be available to purchase on the evening.
When booking, you can also make a charitable donation to help support a child in Norfolk hearing live opera for the first time.
Our soprano, Nazan Fikret, has performed with Glyndebourne, English National Opera, Welsh National Opera and the Royal Ballet and Opera. On 4 December, she will perform accompanied by a pianist just a few feet from your table. Few opportunities bring performers and audience together in quite this way.
Gather friends and family, treat a colleague, or make an occasion of it with someone special. Dinner will be served in the Saloon, one of Wolterton’s most remarkable rooms, creating an experience that feels a world away from the usual Christmas celebration.
About Into Opera
Into Opera is Norfolk’s only professional opera company and the only company in the UK founded specifically to bring new audiences to the art form.
Since launching in 2017, it has worked with more than 10,000 children across the county, tackling cultural deprivation and supporting music education in schools, while finding imaginative ways to introduce audiences of all ages to opera.
